Did I overconnect the airport with metro, buses and trains, so there is no demand for it?Ĥ. Wind turbines are the bane of all things flying, are they stopping aircraft from arriving safely?ģ. I'd also imagine tourists would require commercial, but I actually have no idea.ġ. I suppose there could be low demand for tourism, but I've build a number of tourism buildings which are connected to the airport via public transport. I can think of a number of possible problems, but the game gives me no feedback as to what could be wrong. I assumed it would do nothing, but I also maxed the budget of the airport just in case. I also bulldozed all trees near (and on) the runway. I flipped my airport 90 degrees expecting some kind of map edge issue, but that didn't help.
Meanwhile my population growth flatlined at 69k. I've now spent a couple of years waiting for the first passengers to arrive, but nothing has happened. After reaching the required 65k population, I immediately set up my first airport.
